Pursuing the effort to identify International Institutions that foster authentic Yoga traditions, the following Centres have been authorized by Yoga Alliance International to offer Certified Teachers Training classes:

• Lotos Yoga Academy, in Greece, and
• the Hong Kong Yoga Association, which has Centres in Hong Kong and China.
  

 Swami Vidyanand conducted Yoga Classes for the Mckinsey Consulting Group at their Conference in New Delhi in October, 2007.

Programs were conducted for the Young Presidents’ Organizaion (YPO) in January 2008
by Swami Vidyanand at the world-famous spa in the Himalayas, Ananda.

Later in the year, a Yoga program was conducted by Swami Vidyanand for executives from Nokia at Uppal’s Orchids, in New Delhi.

A Teacher’s Training Program was held in Singapore in May, 2008. Successful participants are now running their own classes at the Yogashala, Singapore.

We have great pleasure in announcing the appointment of Dr. Sharda Nandram, as Ambassador of Yoga Alliance International. In addition to her distinguished academic qualifications, she is an accomplished Yoga practitioner and Transformational Yoga Teacher, trained directly by Swami Vidyanand.

Furthering our aim of spreading the message of Yoga internationally, we are pleased to announce the launch of 

• Yoga Alliance Europa, designed to bring together  people from across Europe and
• Yoga Alliance America, designed to be a forum for  people from around the  Americas, 
• Yoga Times, an e-magazine, bringing you facets of Yoga from around the world.
