What is Sports Yoga™
Sports Yoga™ is a “unique” blend of ancient (Yoga) and modern stretching exercise designed as cross-training to help athletes and Sport people improve their performance before or after any training routine.
Sports Yoga™ approaches the practice of yoga from a physical standpoint, with little or no emphasis on meditation or spirituality. Sports Yoga™ is a workout that enhances balance, strengthens key muscles and develops endurance for improved performance. Sports Yoga™ can help sport people increase flexibility, reduce the chance of sports-related injury. What makes Sports Yoga™ different from other disciplines, is the focus on a specific sport.
Sports Yoga™ can be incorporated into any training program i.e: weight training, jogging, swimming, football, tennis, dancing, golf, indoor and outdoor cycling, circuit training, just to mention few.
